Director of Health Information Management
Seeking an experienced IT Director to join a great health system! This is a full time permanent position with competitive compensation/benefits. Location is about 100 miles West of Chicago, IL.
Summary:
The Director of Information Systems has primary responsibility for managing the human, technical and financial resources of the Information
Systems Department to assure that the ongoing development of services, quality of services, professional and personal staff development and
departmental fiscal results are supportive of, and compatible with the hospital's organizational goals and objectives. This is an exempt position.
Reports directly to the Vice President/Chief Finance Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management required.
- Certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required.
- AHIMA, ILHIMA
- Two – three years supervisory experience in healthcare, preferably a hospital Medical Records department.
