Job Description
Seeking a Corporate Director of Food Services to join a great health system in Central Florida.
Licensed Registered Dietitian preferred, must have 10 plus years supervisory experience in hospital based food and nutrition services
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for directing the activities of the Food and Nutrition Departments for Hospital. Provides quality food service and nutrition care for the patients, visitors, guests and hospital staff. Administers, plans, and directs activities of the department, establishes policies and procedures and provides administrative direction for menu formulation, food preparation and service, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices and personnel utilization. Selects professional management staff. Coordinates interdepartmental professional activities and acts as a resource person to staff and management. The Director is responsible for achieving results through leading, directing, coaching and counseling team members. Assumes financial responsibility for department.
Education/ Requirements:
Graduate Degree – preferred | |
Bachelor’s Degree – required in hotel, restaurant, dietetics or other related field | |
Licensure/Certification/Registration: | |
Licensed as a Registered Dietitian - preferred | |

Special Skills and Experience: | |
10 years of food service management with increasing degrees of responsibility attained. | |
