Job Description

• Patient Financial Services is responsible for the daily oversight, management, and direction of all phases of the hospitals accounts receivable operation in order to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections from third party payors and patients.
• General hospital A/R accounts knowledge is required.
• Experience with the Medicare billing process what claims can be rebilled online vs doing a redetermination.
• Understanding of Medicare language

Qualifications and Job Info

• Must have minimum of 1-2 years experience with Medicare/Medicaid insurance billing, collections, payment and reimbursement verification and/or refunds.
• Diploma or equivalency required Post HS education preferred
• Understanding of alternative Business Office financial resources and the ability to provide information and/or recommendations related to these sources of recovery are preferred.
