Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA - School One-on-One

Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we are currently looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time contract position as a One-on-One CNA in Lemont, IL! The CNA will provide one-on-one care for a preschooler with Sleep Apnea. This CNA would meet at the student’s home (Woodridge, IL), travel on the bus with the student, remain there for the school day, and return home on the school bus with the student. Typical hours will be from Monday-Friday from 7:15A-12:30P. This position will pay $20/hr. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 OR submit to weekly COVID testing.

Qualified candidates should have six months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within a School Setting and/or Pediatrics Setting. Hourly Pay: $20
Weekly Pay: $500
Monthly Pay: $2,000

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to position specialty
2. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
3. Promote student’s/patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
4. Resolve student/patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
6. Ability to deal tactfully with students, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel, according to position setting
7. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
8. Maintain student/patient confidence and protect operations by keeping the information confidential

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

1. 6 months of experience as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Pediatrics or a School Setting.
2. Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or license eligible in the state of employment
3. Certified Nursing Assistant degree from an accredited institution
4. Recent Physical within the last 12 months
5. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit to weekly COVID-19 testing
