Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing
Assistant with experience working with the elderly. The Nursing Assistant will work
in a person-centered care environment and provide personalized care and support
as a member of the care team.
Required Skills:
- Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy. Satisfactory completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant or Homemaker/Home Health Aide Program.
- Ability to understand and make a commitment to the mission and our philosophy
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Demonstrates ability to interact with the elderly.
- Demonstrates ability to interact with respect to those with dementia.
- Demonstrates ability to work with evolving issues and the flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to work independently or without direct supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding and appreciation of the traditions and culture associated with us
- Experience as a nursing assistant with the elderly.
- High school diploma
- Nursing assistant/ CNA training
