Job Description

Full Time Medical Assistant for Mobile Health Screenings Needed

Day Shifts + No On-Call + No Sundays + No Major Holidays + 401K with Employer Matching + Comprehensive Benefits + Uncapped Bonus Opportunities + Paid Travel

  • Screen adults for: chronic vascular disease, stroke, diabetes, osteoporosis, and other diseases to provide early awareness & education
  • Travel with your team to set up daily events in churches, senior centers, and other community buildings within a 150 mile radius of the major metro (travel times between 30 minutes & 3+ hours one-way)

Your Duties as a Medical Assistant with Life Line Screening:

  • Drive to events with your team in a company vehicle & participate in the driving rotation
  • Event set up & tear down
  • Registration/Intake
  • Vitals & Biometrics
  • EKGs
  • Ankle-Brachial Index Tests
  • Osteoporosis Risk Assessments
  • Finger-stick blood testing
  • Educate patients and recommend medically appropriate tests/preventive health screenings

Qualifications to work as a Medical Assistant for Life Line Screening:

  • Completion of formal Medical Assistant, EMT, or Phlebotomy Program
  • Experience of 1 year in the Medical Field OR 1 year experience in Customer Service / Retail / Sales

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays
  • Availability/willingness to work outside of normal business hours
  • Availability/willingness to commute daily to locations up to 3+ hours away
  • Availability for up to 2-3 overnight trips per month (depending on event distance)
  • Valid Driver's License & Clean driving record
  • Reliable Transportation to meeting location
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of medical equipment
  • Must pass pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report, 9-panel Drug Screen, and Background Check
