Patient Accounts Processor II- Insurance Processor
Verify benefits for new insurance admissions. Initiate and complete approval from insurance companies for hospice care. Submit claims electronically and by paper. Initiates and follow through with level of care change approvals with RNCM at insurance companies. Follow up on claim investigation of outstanding balances with insurance companies and investigates incorrect payments. Balance bill patient/families for unpaid amounts by insurance companies. Posts receivables for deductions of nursing home patient portions into the Net Smart software system. Excel and Word application experience beneficial. Excellent customer service skills required. Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm.
