Job Description

We are searching for an Infectious Disease Program-Binational Liaison to assists the Infectious Disease Program Manager in establishing binational US/Mexico professional forum to: 1) track and coordinate infectious diseases and mutual concerns 2) develop a population/community level infection surveillance plan for border region for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

Required Education, Experience, Certificates & Licenses:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Advanced education and/or certification in infection control principles and practice preferred.

· Strong knowledge of both Cochise County and Sonora, Mexico preferred.

· Experience in community health, public health, epidemiology and/or data analysis preferred.

· Demonstrate problem solving skills including planning and establishing priorities.

· Outstanding organization skills.

· Must be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, etc.).

· Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

· Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

· Must possess necessary documentation to travel into Mexico.

· Must be 21 years of age and possess a current Arizona driver's license to qualify for coverage under company insurance. Proof of Insurance may be required if requesting mileage reimbursement.
