Position: Site Lead Supervisor
Location: Port of Seattle | Seattle, WA
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Job Summary: The Site Lead Supervisor will be responsible for a team of collectors at a given location. In this role the supervisor evaluates, trains and coordinates the day to day staffing of the collectors. Will need to communicate effectively to internal and external clients including patients, sales, client service, logistics, senior management, and others. The supervisor must understand all fundamental phlebotomy and COVID 19 procedures and ensure that all collectors are capable of following these procedures.

Job Duties:

• Liaison between local Organization, Regional Director and Ops Area Manager. Key point contact person to problem solve and overall commander of the locations day to day activities, 24x7 on call
• Report daily updates to Ops Area Manager and Regional Directors and populate daily scorecard status and report outs
• Work together with the Ops Area Manager to hire and manage staff onsite while dealing with the day-to-day issues for their specific site location.
• Problem resolution with issues including but not limited to: phlebotomy and swab collecting staff, specimen tracking, specimen resolution and scheduling adjustments, IT Support, Logistics Divers, Customer Service, POC technician and Supply procurement
• Coordinate and manage schedules patient flow with local organization
• Train staff for technical and customer interactions
• Daily onsite supply and POC maintenance
• Reconciliation tracking and quality management
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met, while abiding by all compliance to regulatory regulations
• Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED: required
• Bachelor's Degree: preferred
• Diagnostics/life sciences industry experience strongly: preferred
  • ​Prior healthcare business development/transactional experience within diagnostics/life sciences industry highly desired
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in people management/supervisory/management role: required​
• Knowledge in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint: required
• Politically savvy with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills are essential
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Proven experience with a broad base of external customers
• Ability to combine both scientific and commercial knowledge to meet customer needs
• Ability to clearly and effectively articulate complex concepts
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 20 pounds
• Frequent contact with water (hand washing and cleaning), biohazardous body fluids, and hazardous chemicals
