Accounts Receivable Specialist – Gilbert, AZ

AB Staffing is a growing healthcare staffing company that has recently been recognized by Forbes as one of the top 20 professional search firms across the Nation. We are currently looking for someone to join our Accounting department, starting immediately.

Job Description:

• Monitor the company’s accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect it in installments.
• Use credit bureau data, post office information, internet searches and other tools to try to locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers.
• Maintain records of contact and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
• Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
• Initiate new client contact to make sure billings are being submitted properly and to the correct location/individual(s).
• Monitor new client contracts and amendments to ensure billing requirements are met.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
