(Archived) Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Shift: 8A-5P
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Job Details

• Photocopy checks received, prepare bank deposits, update cash logs, prepare daily cash receipts journal entries
• Match AP vendor invoices with checks, prepare packages for signatures, and mail out checks.
• Responsible for completing AP vendor filing and any other department filing, as needed
• Maintain and order office supplies as needed
• Be back up for vendor invoice data entry
• General clerical, photocopying, typing and filing
• Other projects and functions as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) with course in bookkeeping and accounting
• 2 years of hospital accounts payable experience
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
