Position: EHS Specialist
Location:Clifton,NJ
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Job Details
- Conduct the hospital employee credentialing process by tracking, maintaining, and monitoring applicable employee vaccinations such as TB, Hep B, MMR, annual influenza, and substance abuse panel drug testing.
- Conducts injury investigations and workers compensation management
- Responsible for maintenance of EHS training records and related documents
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in EHS for a laboratory
- BS/BA (or equivalent) in occupational safety and health or other related field
- Local travel to conduct on-site inspections of managed labs (approx. 50 miles)
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA and DOT federal and state regulations required.
- Availability to assist with emergency response 24/7
