Overview

The Clinical Operations Manager (COM) is a professional administrator who manages and evaluates the Health Care Delivery Program in accordance with State and Local Regulations within our correctional sites. Ensures medical, dental, and mental health program activities are based on goals, objectives, aims, policies and procedures of the company and the facilities in which it operates. The COM will work with regional and site leadership to ensure compliance with governmental and state accreditation standards as applicable. The COM will backfill open positions as needed, provide additional support to sites while on a career path to permanent placement at a site as designated by the company. This position will require extensive travel and the successful candidate must be willing and able to relocate to the site designated by the company.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in a medium to large operation as a Health Administrator providing delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care.
  • Three (3) or more years’ administrative, management and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel and work in multiple states in the U.S., required.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  1. In partnership with regional leadership, the COM assures compliance with company, client policies and contract requirements.
  2. Maintains communication and good working relationship with facility administration, employees, correctional personnel, contracted providers, and outside agencies.
  3. Evaluate and recommend methods of improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  4. Evaluate financial and statistical data, program needs and problems, and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Ensures the required level or organizational efficiency for the provision of approved and appropriate medical services.
