(Archived) Director, Clinical Solutions - Academic Detailing Needed in St. Louis, MO

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Clinical Solutions will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and oversight of the product and business function, with a focus on margin growth for commercial and government program divisions. Responsibilities include product management, product enhancement and financial management of the Academic Detailing services and team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for managing performance of team members.
• Understand and help set strategic direction and goals for team and department; translates goals to work plan.
• Drive work plan for area of responsibility and drive achievement of all goals.
• Set direction or prioritization for team and directly manages escalated items.
• Provides leadership or directing in planning and coordination within their functional area and among cross-functional teams.
• Set strategy for functional area, communicate strategy, and appropriate influence thinking among team and cross-functional teams.
• Integrates functional unit needs and competencies with those of other functional units in the organization to maximize overall service efficiency and response.
• Champions innovation through creative solutions and encourages the development of new solutions or innovative enhancements of existing solutions.
• Adheres to and exhibits all Express Way Values.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Pharm or PharmD with active pharmacist license and 7-9 years of experience.
• People leading experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and appropriately in a manner effective for the situation.
• Proficient critical thinking skills and problem solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically, design plan of action, and execute.
• Ability and experience with clinical product management.
• Experience with handling contracts, master service agreements, federal policy, federal guidance and/or state legislation and regulations.
• Desired PBM, Government Programs, Vendor management and Data analytics experience.
• Financial acumen.
