Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Coordinator- Staff Development, Clinical is responsible for clinical aspects of staff development within Home Care & Post-Acute Care Services. The Coordinator develops and performs education for all clinical roles within all Home Care and Post- Acute departments. This includes provision of ongoing clinical and regulatory education, onboarding training, and ongoing competency validation for various clinical Home Care and Post-acute roles including, but not limited to nurses, therapists, social workers, home care aides, pharmacists and providers. The Coordinator facilitates good practice measures including effective, efficient documentation and communication of activities using interpersonal and electronic communication.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors. Licenses/Certifications: RN in current state or Physical Therapist License or Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant or Speech-Language Pathologist Experience: 1 year experience in clinical Home Care required Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience working as classroom instructor and with adult education curriculum development Other skills or knowledge: Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette Knowledge of Epic Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Demonstrates proficiency in typing/ basic computer skills Skilled in correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation/ written and verbal communication Valid Driver's License EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled Job seekers will be afforded equal opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, veteran status or disability status.
