CRNA Physician need in Gallup, NM. Gallup is a small city in New Mexico, on historic Route 66. To the east, red sandstone cliffs dominate Red Rock Park, home to Anasazi archaeological sites from around 300 A.D. Here, Red Rock Museum focuses on Anasazi heritage, with displays of pottery and silver. In the city, Gallup Cultural Center has Native American crafts and cultural exhibits. The Rex Museum covers local history, including railroad and mining.

• Period of Performance: September 3, 2019 to December 31,2019
• Description: The Contractor will provide inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services, medical and surgical within the clinics, wards and operating room at Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) and other clinical settings as may be required for consultation from time to time. The Contractor will provide consultative services by request from clinics at GIMC and other IHS service units in the area. Perform general anesthesia for elective, urgent and emergent cases. Provide sedation to include: minimal, moderate, and deep sedation. Provide regional anesthesia to include: neuraxial (epidural and spinal) and extremity blocks. Provide anesthesia services for all age groups and degrees of disability to include trauma.
• Hours: The time can vary according to the needs of each facility and/or clinic, e.g. 12 hour Tour of Duty, 8 hour Tour of Duty, 10 hour Tour of Duty. Includes nights, weekends and holidays.

The El Rancho Hotel located in Gallup hosted such legendary western movie star Kings as John Wayne, Ronald Reagan and Kirk Douglas, who often stopped their on their way to Monument Valley, where many Western movies were made. It’s also interesting to note that the famous song “Route 66” is about an actual Route that runs through Gallup.
