Job Description
- Coverage Needed:
- ASAP, upon credentialing - ongoing
- Monday - Friday
- 8 or 10 hour shifts
- Cases start at 7 – sometimes 7:30 and would need to be on site ahead of time to prepare anesthesia aspect of room and meet patient
- No call
- Seeking full time coverage - must be able to work M-F, 8 hr shifts
- Clinical Information:
- Support Staff: RNs, Nursing assistants
- EMR: EPIC
- 12 OR rooms
- Peds experience is a plus but not required
- Will assist with positioning, placing monitors that anesthesia uses, participate in the safety checklist, all standard stuff ; the anesthesia docs ‘prep’ in terms of chart review and suitability of patient at the center
- Will be supervised by anesthesiologist
- ratio 2, 3-4 CRNA per doc pending case mix, etc., most is prob 3:1
- Required:
- Active PA license, preferred
- This facility does not employ nicotine users and provider will be required to complete a drug and nicotine test 2 weeks prior to starting
