Ghost RX Staffing is currently recruiting CRNA's for coverage at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Danville, IL.
Monday - Friday 8a-5p with no call. Contract Length 1 Year with (2) optional extensions!
Requirements: - Be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) through either the American Association of Nurses Anesthetists (AANA) or National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing acceptable to meet MTF credentialing requirements. Possess evidence of continuing nursing education, which maintains skills and knowledge in the nursing specialty.
- Have at least one (1) year experience within the past five years routinely practicing as a CRNA. Certifications/Registrations - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate, - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate
Common Questions:
- What kind of cases? Danville is an ambulatory Surgery Center. Cases: Podiatry, Ophthalmology (cataracts), general surgery (hernia), urology, mainly monitored anesthesia care and general anesthesia.
- Do they need to be able to perform as independent CRNA? Yes
- Are there epidurals? No.
- What type anesthetic techniques are performed? General - Yes Regional? MAC Yes or local Yes?
