(Archived) LPN- Cardiology and Anticoagulation Management Services
Job Description
Our multi-specialty hospital has an opening for a full-time LPN to
work in the anticoagulation management services (AMS). The LPNs responsibilities are to provide one on one
assessment and teaching to patients on anticoagulation therapy based on
established protocols under the supervision of the AMS Manager and AMS Medical
Director as well as to provide support to the Cardiology office as needed under
the Cardiology Practice Manager and Chief of Cardiology.
Required:
· Minimum two years in ambulatory setting with telephone patient management skills.
· Must have previous experience providing care to patients requiring anticoagulation therapy using warfarin and/or patients with cardiac disease.
· Acute cardiac care experience preferred.
· Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Massachusetts, BLS required.
· CACP certification preferred.
