Job Description

LPN - Urgent Care

Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking an experienced LPN to join our urgent care staff. Tower Health is the largest provider of urgent care services, based on weekly visits, in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. Our Urgent Care locations are open 365 days a year and offers patients access to advanced, comprehensive care from 9 a.m. to 9.pm.

Location(s):Kennett Square, PA

Shift: 12 hours - 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Required Skills:

Leadership and self-motivation with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong phlebotomy and IV skills required.

Assisting in bedside procedures, laceration repair, I&D

Strong professional verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Rooming patients, recording vital signs/medical data, recording information in EMR, operating EKG and other diagnostic equipment; preparing treatment rooms and patients for examination.

Cleaning and sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory of medical supplies and materials and performing other site procedures as directed.

Education / Requirements:

High School graduate or GED

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Acute Care experience preferred

BLS Certification is required.

Current PPD or Chest x-ray

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening

Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation as some travel may be necessary.
