Position: LPN/LVN
Location: Cumming, GA
Shift: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Start: ASAP
Job Description
- Collaborates with the nurse or physician to determine nursing needs of the patients
- Prepares patients for examination and treatment
- Provides for patient comfort. Monitors physiological status
- Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments
- Performs initial screening of patients. Assists with medical treatment of patients. Provides emergency first aid measures
- Performs Basic Life Support (CPR). CPR certification required
- Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
- Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments
- Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician
- Maintains patient files, records, and other information
- May call in patients= prescriptions as directed by physician
Requirements
- Must have experience working in a clinical office setting
- Prior travel experience Preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR Preferred
- Must have state license
- Must have active BLS certification
