CareMore’s Health Networks, Primary Care+, Touch and CareMore@Home models drive strategy, operations, and care delivery in our national markets (Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and the District of Columbia), where CareMore builds and runs capitated primary care medical groups, at-risk health networks and upstream care delivery products in service of high-risk Medicaid, Medicare and commercial patients, and our collaboration with Emory Health System in Georgia. Our comprehensive, upstream approach to health is led by robust multidisciplinary teams of extensivists (managing acute and post-acute episodes of care), primary care clinicians, behavioral health clinicians, care management & engagement specialists (including social workers, case managers and community health workers), and mobile home-based care teams.   • Responsible for providing supervision and leadership to the administrative and non-physician clinical staff of a large medical office.
  • Performs the responsibilities of a medical assistant on a limited basis (20% or less of their time).
  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Implements and monitors operational/office policy and procedures.
  • Ensures office processes are efficient, supports the medical groups practice and enhances patient satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyzes daily office operations and utilization of resources.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels and morale.
  • Interacts with regional manager to facilitate office operations to meet company objectives.
  • Conducts monthly staff meetings.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma
  • 3 years of experience in a physician office including working knowledge of managed care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement requirements.
  • Medical Assistant Certification as required. LPN or LVN preferred.
  • For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a pre-placement Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
