Job Description
Locum Nurse Midwife Position in Elmira, NY
- Clinical Role:

- Schedule Needed: Night shifts 8p-8a or 24 hour in house shifts.
- Birthing Center has 8 beds L & D - 20 beds post partum
- 40-60 births per month
- 4 physicians, 2 APPs in practice
- Locum will be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers
- Support staff: OB GYN MD back-up local MFM available for onsite consults Level III NICU
- 40% low risk delivery, 60% high risk
- Nursery admissions per day: 2
- Nursery Level 3
- EMR: ECW Quadramed-OB trace view
- Must be able to do first assist c-sections
- Certified Nurse Midwife - Required
- Active NY license - Required
- BLS, ACLS - Required
- Covid vaccinated – Required
