Full Scope Certified Nurse Midwife or WHNP:
Seeking a candidate with 5 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife for an OB/GYN Clinic located in Western Massachusetts.

Hours/shift/ Any calls: M-F office, weekday and weekend call, depends on one or two midwifes.
Job Description:
We are seeking a full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife to join our growing OB/GYN office located in the heart of the Berkshires. The Certified Nurse Midwife provides specialized nursing services in areas that may include women’s health, family planning, labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care. The CNM’s duties will be performed under the general supervision of the CMO. The CNM will work in close collaboration with a community hospital’s labor and delivery department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtain records of patients health history; performs comprehensive physical assessment as part of a total physical examination; diagnose, treat, and plan appropriate healthcare for patients; manage and prevent sexually transmitted diseases; refer patients to physicians and/or outside agencies as required; establish and maintain patients electronic medical records and other necessary records.
Perform gynecological exams on expectant mothers to ensure they remain healthy throughout their pregnancy; offer family planning services and preconception care to women who wish to get pregnant; provide support during labor and childbirth; provide pre-natal, labor, delivery, and postpartum education; provide breastfeeding and infant care education.
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing, A minimum of one year’s experience is preferred. National certification in specialty is preferred.
Necessary special requirements:
