The CNM will perform under the general supervision of the CMO and work closely with a hospital labor and delivery department. Some of the provider's responsibilities will include performing gynecological exams on expectant mothers, offer family planning services, preconception care, support during labor and delivery, educate patients on various topics such as prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, breastfeeding and infant care.
