Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an Orthopedics team in Jaffrey, NH! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician. This position is Monday - Friday. The Nurse Practitioner duties would include patient evaluations and follow ups, EMR documentation, performing joint/tendon/bursa injections, splinting and casting (training is available for those who do not have previous experience or would like some extra help), imaging interpretation and being an integral part of a high functioning health care team.
Responsibilities:
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
Qualifications:
- Certification and license in the state of NH as a Nurse Practitioner is required
- 2+ previous years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is a plus
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
