(Archived) Cardiology or Hospitalist w/Card exp. Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Locum needed in ND

A facility home to museums, historical buildings, beautiful parks and a zoo in North Dakota is eager to have an Advanced Practitioner join their inpatient team to help with locum coverage. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will need to have their ACLS, can round on a case load anywhere from 8-20 patients and open to 44 hour weekly shifts. The provider would be supported by inpatient staff and cardiologist they are on service with. Our ideal provider will be able to work with a wide range of cardiology diagnosis, ACS, CHF, arrhythmia, any inpatient related cardiology diagnosis. You will be responsible for rounding on patients in follow up on the general floors and assisting with discharge. Critical care patients and consults are covered by the physician on hospital service. Cardiology is only primary on STEMI patients, otherwise patients are admitted under hospitalists/intensivist with cardiology as a consulting service.

• Dates Needed: March 20-June 8 with possible ongoing
• March 20-23, 25-30 April 1-6, 25-27, 29-May 4, May 1-4, 6-11, 13-18 June 3-8
• Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 5:00, Saturday 8-12 (1 hour lunch M-F) Some weeks require 44 hours
• Responsible for rounding on patients in follow up on the general floors and assisting with discharge
• APC would be supported by inpatient staff and cardiologist they are on service with.
