Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in Massachusetts | Long-Term Coverage Option

Details/Requirements:
--Facility in central Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Medicine experienced NP or PA to provide coverage starting ASAP
--Coverage is needed for Saturday-Wednesday shifts from 10 am-10 pm ONGOING weekly coverage
--182 bed hospital
--40 bed ED
--23 patients per day on average per 24 hour shift
--Approximately 80,000 visits per year
--High volume, fast pace, high acuity.
--No Trauma Designation
--Rapid Medical Evaluation Area in the Emergency Department staffed by PA
--10 MD’s, 20 PA’s
--Percentage of ED patients admitted to hospital: 10% inpatient and 4.5% observation
--Sixty to seventy percent of total hospital admissions are received from ED
--Hospitalists write admission orders
--Massachusetts license is required, DEA required, BLS, ACLS and PALS
--Must be NCCPA or AANP certified
