Job Description
- Physician-owned multi-specialty medical group practice
- Free-standing children’s hospital (206 beds)
- Pediatric level 1 trauma center
- 30 bed emergency department cares for over 50,000 patients each year and is growing rapidly.
- Night schedule (11pm – 7am) alongside pediatric emergency medicine physicians.
- 1 year clinical nursing experience in a critical care, urgent care, or emergency department required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Current clinical competence required
- BLS and PALS required.
- 104 hours (13 shifts) per month of 11pm – 7am shifts
Located in the heart of the Hampton Roads area which includes Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, VA, and represents the second most populous metropolitan area in the state with over 1.8 million people. The region has a mild climate and outstanding recreational opportunities. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay, and the Blue Ridge Mountains are nearby.
