(Archived) Family Nurse Practitioner for Washoe County Urgent Care Clinic
Job Description
Opened in May 2021, the brand new Nevada Cares Campus emergency shelter admits men and couples and serves as a space where staff provides access to basic services and a more secure location for individuals not wishing to move into congregate shelters. Pets are welcome as well.
"This program model reduces the environmental, public health and safety concerns of unregulated encampments by providing basic services such as restrooms, handwashing, and trash disposal facilities in addition to case management, service referrals and housing placements." (Washoe County 2021)
Newly built outpatient primary care clinic, on site, will open August 2022 to serve all those staying at the 600 bed facility. Clinic will be staffed daily by Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants and expectations are for the Family Nurse Practitioner to work Mondays & Fridays from 1 PM to 9 PM. Some on-call may be required but negotiable.

Position requires a Nevada FNP license, 1 years of Primary Care experience and a Basic Life Support certification.
