Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant job opportunity in Mankato, Minnesota.

This opportunity offers:

  • Weekend Call Coverage - 60 hours total
  • Friday at 4pm - Monday at 8am
  • Responsible for first Neurosurgery call, rounding on patients, and following up on EDs and assisting any trauma cases
  • Must be able to perform H&Ps prior to surgery, as well as perform full neurological examinations
  • Average patient per shift: 6
  • Supervision: PA students
  • Adult/Geriatric
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Level III trauma center
  • PA-NPPCA; NP-AANC, AANP
  • Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges
  • Exposure to cranial and spine trauma surgeries
