Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
StartDate: 08/01/2019Available Shifts: Regular 8
Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant job opportunity in Mankato, Minnesota.
This opportunity offers:
- Weekend Call Coverage - 60 hours total
- Friday at 4pm - Monday at 8am
- Responsible for first Neurosurgery call, rounding on patients, and following up on EDs and assisting any trauma cases
- Must be able to perform H&Ps prior to surgery, as well as perform full neurological examinations
- Average patient per shift: 6
- Supervision: PA students
- Adult/Geriatric
- EMR: EPIC
- Level III trauma center
- PA-NPPCA; NP-AANC, AANP
- Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges
- Exposure to cranial and spine trauma surgeries
