Currently looking for a APRN Family Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a strong stable healthcare organization located in the North Eastern CT area. Interested candidates should hold M.S. degree from an accredited school of nursing. Nationally recognized certification in area of practice. Board certification required.

Responsibilities of the Family Nurse Practitioner

• Assess and treat clients in an Outpatient setting
• Perform comprehensive physical examination, and compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination.
• Clinical services provided shall include routine and appropriate ambulatory adult, pediatric, and gynecological care as assigned.
• Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infection
• Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care
• Flexible Scheduling available
• Collaboration with the treatment team
• No Weekend work or Call required

Requirements of the Family Nurse Practitioner:

• Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Must have or be eligible to be licensed
