(Archived) Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient - Nocturnist 6on/8off Block - Southeastern Washington

• Seeking a NP or PA to join our Hospitalist Nocturnist team
• See Adult patients and cover the night shift on our Hospitalist Service
• The ideal candidate for this position will have a varied acute care clinical background and the ability to relate and communicate well with patients, physicians and other health care providers.
• Three years of hospital experience is preferred but not required
• It’s a 6 night On / 8 Off arrangement
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday – Saturday on; then 8 nights off
• Responds to all Rapid Response calls and Code Blue calls when in-house.
• Must hold licensure as either a NP or PA in the state of Washington.
• Must have or obtain certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Hold current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration and current Prescriptive Authority approval by state of Washington.
• Possesses a team-focused attitude.
• Salaries are the MGMA national median (50th%tile)

Located in the beautify Southeast corner of Washington known as the Palouse region. Home of Washington State University with Idaho University just 8 miles away.

Also north is the more metropolitan area of Spokane. About 35 miles south you will descend 2,000 feet to the Snake River where the water is clear and great for hiking.
