Job Description

About the AREA:

Located in Western Nebraska just 2 hours from Denver, CO.

Hospital is a 15-bed critical access hospital and rural health clinic. Our experienced medical staff provide acute care, emergency care, surgery, physical therapy, swing bed services and a variety of outpatient services including nuclear medicine, endoscopy, mobile MRI, in-house CAT scanning, and bone density scanning. About the POSITION:

Will work in the provider based rural health clinic and take call in the Emergency Department

Clinic is M-F 7a to 6p and Sat 7a - 3p

Will also take their turn for call in the ER. See details about the ER below

They MUST have experience in Emergency Medicine as well as Primary Care.

They are near an interstate, so the trauma calls they get are pretty extensive.

There are both a level 2 and a level 3 trauma center, with 1 1/2 hours; so once stable, the patient can be transported to one of those.

There is a large geriatric population, so they would like someone who has that component as well!

Very collegial group. Younger group. They really want someone who fits in and will be part of the "family".

Work alongside two physicians, several nurse practitioners and a physican assistant in a rural health clinic and 15 bed Critical Access Hospital.

Always a Doctor on call, but they don't have to come in, just have to be available by phone.

They do have telemed in the ER; so they have access to a Physician there.

About the COMP & BENEFITS:

Excellent Salary and Benefits.
