Job Description
Position: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Arlington, TX
Shift: 8a-8p
Start: Immediately
Job Details
Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures. May perform specific nursing case as it relates to the specialty of the practice
Collects patient data such as vital signs, patient notes and reason for visit
Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests, treats wounds and changes bandages
Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated suystems and documentation practices
Administers precribed medications and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response
Participate in the implementation and evaulation of patient care
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a high volume clinic or acute care setting is strongly preferred
Accredited school of practical nursing program
LVN/LPN State License is required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or BCLS- Basic Cardiac Life Support
Additional specialty certifications if applicable required
