About the GROUP:

With a long and successful history of providing health care, Hospital operates as a licensed 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with Swing Beds serving the surrounding region.

The providers and staff offer the following services:

Laboratory services

Radiology services (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound)

Acute (In-patient) services

Swing Bed (skilled nursing) services

Observation bed services

Outpatient services

Sleep studies

24/7 Emergency service

Ambulance services

Physical Therapy in-patient and out-patient services

Nutritional services

Specialty Clinic care services

About the POSITION:

They need 2 NP's

Will work with another NP.

Provider will work in the clinic, hospital (IP/Swing Bed/OP, Obs, ER).

Shared call between the 3 APP's w/locums coverage on the weekends

The goal is to have 1 provider on call while 2 providers are in the clinic

Clinic is open M-F 7:30am - 6pm and Sat 9am - 1pm

Will see all ages in the clinic from a 1 day old baby to a 105 year old adult

Will manage chronic disease patients as well as acute patients.

They have Avera eCare as emergency backup in the ER (a virtual facility located in SD)

They also contract with an Internist group for curbside consults to assist with managing patients

The goal is to keep patients here, and not have to transfer unless absolutely necessary

Six days of call a month is in the contract. Additional call is currently paid at 50/hour

Currently have an RVU based bonus paid quarterly if threshold is met.
