Job Description
Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a BC /NP/PA to provide locums coverage at an established practice in North Carolina. Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
Coverage Needed:
3 months with option to extend 30 days at a time
Start date: March 8, 2022
March 8th – April 14th (Practice closed Friday 04/15/2022)
April 19th- June 7th
Schedule: Weekly work schedule/hours: 37 hrs/week 7:30 am – 5:30 pm T/W/Th, and 7:30 am to 2:30 pm Friday.
Lunch from 12 noon -1 pm daily. Patient care scheduled between 8 am - 5 pm T/W/Th and 8 am – 2 pm Friday, extra time given for charting and admin duties.
Outpatient only, no call
Locum will provide preventative care and management of chronic conditions for established patient panel during interim period.
BLS required
Average # of patients per day = 16-20
LT provides BLS until EMS arrives in event of an in-office medical emergency.
Not required to serve as backup to Emergency Department
System-wide integrated EMR (EPIC)
Procedures required: PAP tests; I & D; wound care (non-complex); POS testing (performed by nursing staff) includes EKG, U/A, Strep, Flu, BS, Hgb A1C; dedicated RN/LPN/MA assigned daily to room provider’s patients and administer injections. No COVID testing at this site.
Commercial laboratory draw station co-located onsite
Clean NC license
DEA
2 years or more of work experience
BLS
Covid Vaccine is required.
Malpractice, Accommodations and Transit provided.
Providers are paid on a weekly basis.
