Position Description

Olympia, Washington - Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join our interdisciplinary Palliative Care team in beautiful South Puget Sound. 3-5 years of nurse practitioner experience required, as well as experience in acute care settings. The position provides clinical expertise within our Southwest Washington Palliative Care services program to improve care for inpatient and ambulatory patients with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses. Inpatient care will be at Providence St. Peter Hospital and Providence Centralia Hospital; outpatient care will be at ambulatory locations within the region. Providence St. Peter Hospital is a 390-bed regional referral center serving a population of more than 500,000. We offer comprehensive medical, surgical and behavioral health services on our lovely 173-acre campus in downtown Olympia. Location Description

Olympia is located on the southern tip of scenic Puget Sound, which offers an abundance of saltwater activities from beachcombing to salmon fishing and sailing. The magnificent Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges also provide amazing scenery and recreation opportunities. Olympia and its primary neighboring cities of Tumwater and Lacey have a population of 250,000, small enough to see your neighbors around town, big enough to offer an abundance of culture, entertainment and an outstanding school system from elementary through university, including The Evergreen State College and Saint Martins University. And, for those really big city amenities, both Seattle and Portland, Oregon, are about 90 minutes away by car.
