White Plains Hospital, a leading, award-winning hospital, located 25 miles north of NYC in White Plains, Westchester, NY is looking for per diem and full time Hospitalists NP Nurse Practitioners for our expanding Adult Hospitalist Program.

NP- HOSPITALIST JOB SUMMARY

• Hospital employed
• Nights, 8 PM to 8 AM; Days 8am to 8pm. No swing shifts .
• In collaboration with physicians on the Medical Staff, provides care for adult and geriatric patients. This includes but is not limited to rounding on patients as directed by the MD or Hospital staff; writing routine orders in conjunction with the attending physician; reviewing test results and provides follow-up; completing paper work required for discharge.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Valid NYS RN license or eligible to apply for licensure
• Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current NYS certification as a Nurse Practitioner (either Adult/Geriatric)
• BLS certification
• 2+ Years Hospital NP Experience
