MDA is in search of an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist
Open Dates:ASAP to Ongoing ***Shifts 7 days on 7 days off ***
Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call. 7a-7p M-F, every day hospital rounding + OnCall 7pm-7am every day Avg patients per day 5-6 average- Inpatient, 6-8 HF Clinic, & generally 2-4/OnCal
Vacancy - Long term perm search.
Work-site Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient.
This position includes rounding on patients in the hospital, approximately 2 admissions per shift, responding to consults, and seeing patients in the clinic. Scheduled hours and day vary. Night/Weekend Call- Starts at 5 p.m .until 6 a.m. M-F Saturday ends Sunday @ 5 a.m.10-13 patients seen per day in clinic. Approx. 2 Phone Consults
Age of patients 18+
EMR/EHR system: McKesson/Horizon Clinical. Cerner in March
Privileging Process: Credentialing can take up to 90 days
Travel/Housing Notes: Hospital will reimburse airfare, lodging and rental car.
