Description:

Full-time, hospital-employed position
-
Open to Physician Assistant, ACNP or AGACNP
-
7 on 7 off schedule with rotating days and nights
-
Conduct a comprehensive health history and physical examination
-
Analyze data to identify normal and abnormal health characteristics to develop a differential diagnosis
-
Order, perform and review diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures based on either written protocols and procedures or as delegated by the supervising physician

Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and their families to define outcomes of care
-
Develop a comprehensive plan of care in collaboration with the supervising physician
-
Prescribe and implement interventions consistent with the plan of care

Document health information in a retrievable format for communication to other healthcare professionals and to facilitate appropriate coding and billing for services
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a PA, ACNP, or AGACNP preferably in hospital medicine

Ability to build rapport with patients
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
