Nurse Practitioner Conyers, GA (25 minutes East of Atlanta)

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Conyers, GA. We are conveniently located 25 minutes east of downtown Atlanta and are a part of the Atlanta metro area. Close to the nightlife, shops, dining, and entertainment!

We are looking for a NP who is driven to provide high-quality care, is compassionate and caring, and has at least one year of experience in Pain Management or Family Practice.

Duties:

  • Patient care – patient load of 20-25 patients per day (mixed between primary and pain management)
  • Perform complete patient evaluation (history/physical/HPI) for a wide variety of diagnoses, complex acute, critically ill and chronically ill patients
  • Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
  • Patient follow up- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
  • Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools
  • Documentation- timely and accurate

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (NP)
  • NP license in GA
  • At least 1 year experience in Pain Management or Family Practice
  • Must be board certified
  • Must have an active DEA license
  • Current provider card in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Power point

Schedule:

  • Monday- Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm

Salary (range):

  • starting at $110,000 and up depending on experience level
