Job Description
One of our clients in Indiana needs assistance with Neonatology locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
- Location: Near South Bend
- Facility: 200-bed Hospital
- Coverage Dates: ASAP – August
- Schedule: 24 hr shifts In-House NNP staffing. (There's also a Neonatologist present during day-time hours 7 days/wk.)
- Practice Details: Average Patients per day: Previous average 7-8 pts/day; Last 4-5 months average: 10-12 (Highest number in past 4-5 months: 19). NP will be working autonomously. Procedures: Intubation. UAC/UVC/PICC line placement. Chest tube decompression. Cooling. Ventilator management including oscillator.
- Setting: Inpatient, hospital, EMR: EPIC, Level 3 NICU
- Must be IN licensed and NP Certified, and obtain NRP and BLS
- Malpractice, travel and credentialing are taken care of on your behalf
