Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Western Oregon
Level 3 NICU provides care for micropremies. Conventional Drager ventilator, HFOV, and VDR. No pediatric or cardiac surgery. Average census is 18-20. Max 32 beds. NNP would typically round on 5 - 8 patients; this is an expansion position. This could be 36 or 40 hrs, 8 hour shifts. The NNPs don't attend high risk deliveries, and the NICU does not utilize ECMO.
