We are currently seeking motivated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a government opportunity in Fort Campbell, KY! This is a Government Contract Opportunity for an Indian Health Reservation.

DUTIES:

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Sygnetics //

  Must be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice as a NNP at BACH through review and recommendation of the hospital Credentials Committee and approval by the HRP Commander.

  Be a graduate of an approved NNP program.

  Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license to practice nursing in one of the 50 states in the United States, or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  Specialty Requirements: In addition to requirements set forth above all contractor registered nurses shall:

  Possess national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

  Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current registration as a registered nurse.

  Be a graduate of an accredited Master’s Degree in Neonatal Nursing. Special note: This requirement may be waived by the Deputy Commander for Nursing (DCN) and/or the Deputy Commander for Clinical Services (DCCS) on a case-by-case basis based on a review of experience, professional credentials and an on-site interview with the candidate.

  All contract nurses shall meet standards set forth in the specialty in which they are licensed or registered.

  Neonatal Nurse Practitioners must have the following experience:

  Nurse Practitioners (NPs) shall have a minimum of one year of experience within the last three years working as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

  Have current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. The contractor is responsible for maintaining these certifications in a current status at all times while performing services under this contract. Certification must be obtained through an American Heart Association approved training program,

  The contract HCP shall possess a National Practitioner Identifier.

  All contract HCPs shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other HCPs.

  Contract HCPs shall be required to meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements. The government will not reimburse for these costs.

  The contract HCP shall have received Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required training for the position in which they will perform, and that training currency is maintained. Documentation of such training shall be provided to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).

  No records or convictions involving any form of chemical dependency, previous convictions of felonious nature, or any adverse actions pending by any Board of Medicine.

  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an active and unrestricted license from ANY State (NO HITS)
• Graduated from an accredited college
• MUST have BLS, ACLS and ATLS
• Shift: Full time, Fifteen 12 HR shifts to choose from
