Job Description

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) needed in Albany for ongoing locums coverage of in-house 24 hour shifts.

  • Setting: Level III NICU
  • Average daily census: 12
  • Schedule: 7:30am – 7:30am
  • Days: 1 NNP and 1 Neonatologist
  • Nights: 1 NNP in-house, 1 Neonatologist on call w/30 min response time
  • Duties: Coverage of newborn nursery and NICU, attend high risk deliveries and C-sections
  • Procedures: intubations, UVC and chest tube placement, PICC lines, thoracentesis, peripheral IV and arterial lines, lumbar punctures
  • EMR: Epic
  • Requirements: Active NYS license, NNP certification, NRP and 3+ years of NNP experience
