Job Description
Locum Source is working with a facility in northern California that is looking for an NP or PA with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care experience to assist with ongoing coverage starting in December. Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8 hour-day shift
No call
Setting:
Neurosurgery/Trauma ICI
Trauma Level II
Average of 15-20 ICU patients per day
EMR is Cerner Care B
Required Procedures:
Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture, and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement). High-risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, and central and arterial line placement.
Requirements:
ANCC/AANP or NCCPA
NP/PA with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care experience
Active California license
COVID Vaccinated
ACLS, ATLS, & DEA
Clean malpractice/background
Local provider - Preferred
