About the AREA:
Located in Eastern North Carolina just over an hour from Raleigh, NC.
About the POSITION:
Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work with Stroke Neurohospitalists on its dedicated inpatient stroke service. Join a growing Neurosciences Service Line which includes a robust Neurosurgery Service, an expanding Neuroscience ICU and a Stroke Program.
Hospital privileges at a 974-bed Level 1 Trauma Center
Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification in progress
100% inpatient
No nights
Stroke Consultative Service co-managing patients with the Hospitalist Service
Work closely with Stroke Neurohospitalists - new consults and follow-up cases, participation in acute stroke management 16-bed NSICU
1500 stroke admissions annually
Stroke Nurse Navigator and Stroke Coordinator support
Neurointensivist support
