Job Description:
- Will be on Worksite
- The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for evaluation and treatment of occupational health injuries
- Episodic and general health care coordination and follow up
- New and annual employee physicals; wellness screenings, exposures including blood born pathogen
- Performs assessments of the sick and injured patients to determine if further medical attention is needed.
- Other physical examinations including DOT, HAZMAT, and other exams.
- May be required to perform venipuncture, ekg, audiometric and pulmonary function testing.
- Performs urine drug and breath alcohol testing
- Must have DOT certification
- Must have workers comp
- Monday -Friday 8am -5PM
- Experience: two or more years as a nurse practitioner with experience in triage, first aid, critical care, emergency, family medicine, internal medicine, Occupational health, or employee health would be and advantage.
- Skills required – Education requirements: Minimum education: graduate of an accredited school of nursing: licensed NP in the state of SC Required: Must have current BLS certification. Preferred education: training in Emergency medicine, internal medicine, employee health, or occupational health practices.
